Parenthood is the frontline of humanity

Protecting life, nurturing hope, and building peace — the work happens in ordinary rooms, at night, without an audience.

A Universal Message

No treaty has ever protected a child as reliably as a mother and a father who understand their duty.

The Role of Father & Mother

Three sets of duties, one child

The Mother

  • She carries the child before the world knows the child exists.
  • Her body is the first shelter, her voice the first language, her rest the child's first security.
  • She is owed protection in return — by the father, by the family, by the state, by us.

The Father

  • He is not a visitor to the childhood he created.
  • His duty is presence: hours, patience, night waking, teaching, and the steady refusal to leave.
  • A father who stays changes the trajectory of a life more surely than any income he provides.

Together

  • Two adults who know their duties to one newborn are the smallest working unit of peace.
  • They teach duty by performing it, compassion by showing it, courage by staying calm.
  • From that household comes an adult who will not make war.

If parenthood changed you, say so where another parent can hear it

We collect testimonies from mothers, fathers, grandparents and guardians — in Nepali or English, written or recorded — and share them so that no family believes their struggle is unique.
